Let’s hang out... but not hang out ok?

I love hanging out with my friends. But what Ive noticed at times when we do hang out everyone is on their phones. We can laugh about things and show each other memes that make us laugh. But is it enough? Is it enough to learn from each other our likes and dislikes? That is a huge negative aspect of technology today. Everyone has a phone and no one knows how to hang out with each other anymore because we are always on them. The worst part about this is you can carry a conversation with someone over social media and they will be RIGHT NEXT TO YOU! We consume much of our time with online social media, that I feel sometimes we forget to be social face to face. It is an important factor to be able to have meaningful conversations.
